This year, 12 boys from the Company Section attended
CROSSOVER 2006 for their annual camp.
Crossover has been running annually since 1999 and this
years’ event took place during the weekend 16th – 18th
June 2006 at Broomlee, West Linton.
This years’ theme was
“Escape”, but there was no escape for the boys' this year as they
had the title of Olympic champions to retain after winning the Olympics competition
last year which was the first
time this event has been held at Crossover.
This year, they had to make up their own country with its own flag. They
named their country "Keegan" (don't ask) and the flag consisted of a
branch with their boxer shorts hanging off it. After the rallying call -
"You may take my freedom, but you will never take my Keegan!!",
the boy's went out and crushed all opposition and retained their title as
the Sports Champions.
The first set of pictures show the boys on a
sponsored walk on Saturday
6th May where they
walked from Yarrow Ford to Yarrow Ford Hill. This was a circular route which
is approximately 11 miles.
